Summary
Reiya Group is currently seeking a motivated and professional Deckhand to join a well-run, 70m+ private yacht. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is career-driven and eager to gain valuable experience across all aspects of deck operations, from maintenance to guest services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out daily deck duties including cleaning, washdowns, maintenance, and general upkeep
- Support guest operations including water sports, tender driving (if applicable), and deck set-ups
- Assist during shipyard period with refit/maintenance projects
- Work collaboratively within the deck team of 6 to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Uphold the vessel’s high standards of safety, seamanship, and professionalism
Requirements:
- Minimum of one full season’s yachting experience on vessels of a similar size
- Yachtmaster Offshore preferred but not essential
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and take initiative
- Career-focused individual looking to grow and develop within the yachting industry
- Ability to work well in a team and maintain a professional attitude at all times
