· Mid Sep start (with good handover)
Position: Sole Engineer
Start Date: Mid-September (to allow for a 4-week handover with the current engineer)
Contract: Full-time
Leave: 60 days annual leave + 10 days allocated for maritime courses (refresher or those beneficial to the vessel)
Key Requirements:
• Strong all-round engineering capabilities, particularly in hydraulics, mechanical systems, electrics, and AV/IT
• Hands-on attitude with involvement on deck for docking, anchoring, and tender operations
• Fit, healthy, and physically active – we’re looking for someone who values wellness
• Strict non-smoker (including no social smoking) and moderate-to-light drinker
• Ideally no dependents, due to the extended periods away from home
• Comfortable sharing a cabin with the deckhand (top bloke)
Additional Info:
• The vessel is over 20 years old, so there’s plenty to keep the engineer engaged
• Scheduled haul-out in October for a 6-month yard period in France, at the original build yard
The vessel has travelled the globe in the last 18 months and itinerary after the shipyard period is TBC
