A high profile 65m Charter MY is on the search for an experienced chief engineer to join them on an equal time rotation in Europe.

The vessel operates duals season Med / Caribbean, with yard times usually completed in Europe.

The vessel is a popular charter yacht and will likely have a full schedule with tips (during season)

The vessel is well maintained and has a further 2 X engineers onboard for support for the chief to oversee, 2^nd engineers on equal time

The vessel is looking for longevity and is fine with rotations from the Southern Hemisphere (Australia / NZ)

The Ideal Candidate

• Chief Engineer experience on 45m + or 2^nd engineer 70m+
• Y1/Y2, SV Chief or commercial equiv
• ISM experience
• Maintains a thorough planned maintenance schedule
• Hands on with their engineering
• Can effectively manage yard times/ survey
• Can manage projects to budget
• Good forward thinking to spares
• Good communication skills

Start: Flexible, within 3 months,

Salary: 10,000€-11,000€ / month DOE as a guide

Rotation: 2/2 months On/Off + Flights

Essential Qualifications

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• RIII/2 Y2 Chief Engineer (<3000gt <3000kW)/ Chief Engineer (SV) (<3000gt <9000kW)
