The Candidate Specification
We are looking for an experienced Laundry Stewardess to join a 65M+ private new build yacht launching a dual season. Candidates must have previous experience in a laundry position onboard yachts. A strong knowledge of garment care, fabric types, pressing, and stain treatment is essential, as is an organised, methodical approach and the ability to work autonomously.
As the dedicated Laundry Stewardess, you’ll take full ownership of the laundry operations onboard, ensuring crew and guest garments are maintained to the highest possible standard. The position requires excellent time management, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities during busy periods. You’ll work closely with the interior team, supporting where needed, but your main focus will be on all laundry-related tasks including delicate items, linens, uniforms, and occasional wardrobe organisation.
