Bosun

Summary

• 70m dual season Private/Charter motor yacht are looking for a Bosun to join them as soon as possible. Yacht is currently located in France.

• This is a great opportunity for a senior deckhand/lead hand looking to step up into their first Bosun position on a well run yacht with the support of the senior officers onboard

• Ideally you will have 3+ years’ experience, Yachtmaster offshore/Yacht rating along with good maintenance skills and solid product knowledge

• They need a driven Bosun who will lead the team from the front, be hands on with teaching and also willing to get stuck in with the guys when it comes to maintenance projects

• Med cruising currently. Open for charters in September. They will potentially cross to the Caribbean depending on charter bookings for the Winter. If they do not cross to the Caribbean, the yacht will winter in Palma

• Must have good tender driving skills and be confident with jet drive. If you have twin jet drive experience this would be advantageous

• The boat is used steadily by the owner, they have a nice working environment, and this is somewhere you could really establish yourself as a Bosun!

• On offer is a salary of 4500 USD, 60 days leave, 14 additional days for training – full package TBD during initial calls

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)
