Chief Officer/1st Mate

Summary

• 40m Private Motor yacht are looking for a temporary Chief Officer to join them immediately until the end of season (1^st October)

• Temporary contract with the potential to go permanent if a good fit but also happy for someone just to temp until end of season

• Must hold OOW 3000, be confident with navigation, running a team and able to cope with fast paced program!

• AEC ticket for manning would be advantageous but not essential!

• Happy to consider an established officer with prior 2^nd officer experience on larger yachts are candidates with experience as first mate on similar size vessels

• Cruising Turkey with the owner over the next few months and heading back to Italy where they hold a home berth at the end of the season

• Extensive watersports set up onboard along with a large chase boat. You need to be able to hit the ground running!

• The owner uses the yacht for around a week at a time with a good amount of turn around time in between trips

• Male only due to Cabin arrangements and ideally located in Europe for ease of travel to the yacht

• Need to be able to start within the next week!

• Excellent salary of 8500 Euros, 60 days leave which will be paid out at end of contract

Essential Qualifications

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)
