Chief Officer/1st Mate

Summary

• 90m+ Private Dual season Motor yacht are looking for a 1^st officer to join them 1^st September ready to hit the ground running!

• This is a well run, busy yacht with long standing and supportive bridge team along with excellent Captains

• They are looking for a hands-on, established officer who will be responsible for the safety/security along with compliance, certification and navigational bridge watches whilst working closely with the Chief Officer

• Must hold CM unlimited COC as there will be interim periods covering the Chief officers duties

• You will need to be a dynamic officer with a good blend of bridge and deck experience – the role will be hands on with lots of deck operations and extensive guest usage

• They are happy to consider an established 2^nd officer looking to step up into a first officer position

• Med Cruising this Summer, crossing to the Caribbean at the end of the year for another busy season. Plans for 2026 TBC

• They are ideally looking for a mixture of commercial and yachting experience. Unfortunately they are unable to consider candidates transferring directly from Commercial on this occasion

• Great package with a starting salary of 7000+ USD DOE, full rotation (8 weeks on/8 weeks off), 13^th month bonus, full medical – full package will be discussed during initial calls

Essential Qualifications

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)
