Summary
An experienced, very well presented, and suitably qualified Head of Service is required for a MY 100m+ vessel. The ideal candidate should have a wealth of experience in all areas of service and will play a pivotal role in supporting the Chief Stew and Interior Manager onboard. The role requires you to have an excellent set of skills with high-end silver service, coffee, wine, flowers, and beverage service. You will also be required to maintain uniforms, inventories, and orders and help train the junior crew members according to the high standards set out onboard. This is an excellent opportunity and a fantastic step for a candidate looking to get closer to the top of the industry on large yachts or to use the experience to launch into a Chief Stew role.
This role starts between October 10th and 15th, 2025, and is only open to females due to cabin restrictions.
Job Specification
- Valid Seaman's book
- Valid Passport
- Valid STCW Basic Training A-VI/1 to 1-4
- Valid Medical ENG1 without restrictions
- Proficiency in Security Awareness (PSA) or Designated Security Duties
- Food Hygiene Level II or III
- STCW Crowd Management Certificate (Can be completed online prior to embarkation but advantageous to have in hand)
- STCW Crisis Management and Human Behaviour (CMHB) (Can be completed online prior to embarkation but advantageous to have in hand)
- Excellent interior service skills, including high-end food service, wine, coffee, beverages, table setting, flowers, and table decorations
- Good leader, team player, supporter, and communicator
- Any and all additional interior certificates are welcome and will give you an advantage
- No visible tattoos, non-smoker
- Must be willing to take a drug and alcohol test.
- Must provide valid written references
- COVID Vaccination certificate (with booster, preferably)
