Chief Officer/1st Mate in France

Summary

CHIEF MATE - OOW+ MUST START July 15th in France.

We need a Chief Mate holding an OOW+ to start in France July 15th.

This can be to complete the current charter, for the remainder of the Med. season or Full time.

The immediate need is to complete the charter in progress. There are charters booked throughout August and possibilities for more. Plus owner's use.

Yacht: 43m Motor - New Build

Start Date: ASAP

Itinerary: Med for the summer season and then US/Caribbean

Location: France

Requirements: OOW+ (GMDSS is a bonus)

Qualifications:

STCW + Refresher

ENG1 or current medical certificate (FIT for Duty) min. 6 months

Passport min. 1 year

Schengen visa if needed for Europe

Prior charter experience, tender driving, water sports.

Leads by example: Manages the deck crew and works directly with the captain. Good communications skills. Friendly charter personality.

Verifiable references.

All certificates up to date.

Able to START ASAP.

Essential Qualifications

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)
