Itinerary: US west and east coast. Bahamas - TBC

 

License Required: Master 350gt+ 

 

Requirements: 

STCW + refresher

ENG1 or current fit for duty marine medical (valid for 6 months) 

B1/B2 visa valid for at least 6 months

 

Other Requirements: Active, happy disposition. 

 

Responsibilities: Captain, warranty work experience

Needs to be able to be accountable and responsible.

Needs to know basic maintenance and troubleshooting. 

Good communicator. 

Excellent budget/accounting management. 

Need an active captain, hands on and help ensure safe operations for a West Coast Yacht. Facilitate fun things for the Owners and Guests to do. Trip planning.

 

OTHER: Owner will use for entertaining. Private use only. Moderate use by owners and up to 4 guest. 

Owners like to stay active and healthy, watersports. 

It runs with 5 full time crew and a 6th (chef) as needed. 

 

Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines depending on your past experience and compensation.  

Package: to be finalized during interview process.  

Commercial Registered Yacht: No, it will run private.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA CoC Master <500gt / Class 5
• MCA CoC Master <500gt / Class 5
