Itinerary: New York and surrounding region, winter time :Caribbean /West Palm Beach

 

Requirements:

Excellent accounting/financial management skills – previous experience managing yacht accounts required. GUEST Purser certificate required

B1/B2 visa

STCW + Refresher as needed

Food hygiene

Current Marine Medical (ENG1). 6 months minimum

Passport (6 months minimum)

certificates/visas in hand.

Conversational English level required.

Solid wine knowledge; WSET certification preferred

Good verifiable references


Responsibilities:

Provide excellent hospitality service to meet and ideally exceed owners & guest expectations.


Excellent communication skills in English both written and oral.


Effectively organize & maintain smooth and efficient operation of the interior department under her supervision to including training and scheduling of all interior duties. (2nd & 3rd stew carried onboard when operating privately and 4th Stew when chartering)


Responsible for overall wardrobe management (packing/unpacking, care of personal items/specialty garments, housekeeping services, laundry procedures

Protecting, maintaining, and caring for valuable interior items and surfaces, such as artwork, silks, china, crystal, linens, varnished woodwork surfaces, gold fittings and marble areas.


Monthly credit card accounting & reconciliation for vessel.


Organizing, monitoring & provisioning of all interior storage areas and inventories.


Excellent collaboration with head chef regarding meal services for the guests.

 

Maintaining and updating all interior manuals and guest-information documents.


Watchkeeping in accordance with the list of responsibilities in the crew mess.


Responsible for First Aid Team/Guests as per Muster List duties.

 

Ideal Candidate:

Minimum 3 years’ experience as Chief Stewardess on similar-sized yachts

Strong leadership and communication skills

Proven service background, ideally with charter experience

MUST be a professional, hardworking, works without supervision. An organizer, happy disposition. 

Proven longevity.


Job specifics: 12 guests, 11 crew.

 

Package: Complies with MLC2006 guidelines. To be finalized during hiring process. Permanent position, 


No rotation - with 38 days per calendar year paid vacation.
