License Required: Ideally a culinary degree and/or strong restaurant background.
Requirements:
- STCW + Refresher
- ENG1 or current fit for duty marine medical (valid for min. 6 months) - physically fit
- Passport (valid min. 1 year)
- True Non-Smokers
- Good communicator
- Strong organizational skills and clean galley habits
- Solid References
- Food safety/hygiene
- Working well with the interior team

- Relaxed and calm.
VISA: B1/B2 visa (minimum 1 year) , Schengen for Europe as needed.

Responsibilities: CHEF/GALLEY duties. Cooking meals for the owner and his guests and crew meals. Provisioning, keeping a clean and organized galley. Well organized, great verifiable references, easy going and energetic personality.
- Cooking for 7/8 crew and the possibility of 10/12 guest, but will usually be 6 guest max.
- Healthy, high-quality meals for both guests and crew
- Can cook on a BBQ
Job Specifics:
This is a 45m private vessel with experienced owners and crew. It runs with 7/8 crew. They are planning a Bahamas trip at the end of June followed by the yard period in S. Florida. After that, they will travel in the Caribbean, owners are aiming for a world wide cruising itinerary- TBC.
Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience. GOOD
Package: Medical coverage, flights to and from the vessel, paid leave, etc. to be finalized during interview process.
