Summary

Position: CAPTAIN/ENGINEER - US flag 

Must have previous experience on similar sized yachts for 3+ years ideally. Technically savvy with modern systems.

The captain needs to be meticulous and experienced in managing luxury finishes and operations.

Light use. Ideal for a Captain/Engineer that wants to be based around the West Palm Beach area and go home most nights.

License Required: USCG 100ton master+ 

Requirements: Captain experience on similar sized.

STCW + Refresher

ENG1 or current fit for duty marine medical (valid for 6 months)

Passport

Covid vaccination

US passport / green card needed due to flag state requirements 

Good longevity prior

Good verifiable references

Reliable, honest, good communications

Good knowledge of engine room maintenance/engineering

Background check and drug testing may apply. 

Responsibilities: Captain and Engineer

Running an active program with lots of water sports, owner is very active, he enjoys fishing diving, watersports. Light use of the vessel, once a month. The boat sits in a Marina in WPB.. 

Warranty work experience.

Clean and Good Safety record 

Strong Mechanical/Engineering knowledge

Hard working and very hands on

Experience cruising the US east coast, Bahamas

Prior experience working with management or a willingness to collaborate with management.

Exceptional communication skills.

Proficiency in computer usage.

Knowledge of accounting principles.

Hands-on experience in the engine room and electronics for

troubleshooting.

Job Specifics: Runs only with the captain/Engineer. They will hire extra crew as needed.  

Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience. 

Package: Medical coverage, flights to and from the vessel, paid leave, etc. to be finalized during interview process. 

Commercial Registered Yacht: No, under 100 Gt
