Summary
An experienced, qualified and motivated Galley Assistant / Laundry Master / Crew Mess Attendant is required for a 100m+ private vessel on a four-month contract which is currently cruising in the Mediterranean Sea. The ideal candidate should have experience in a similar position on a vessel over 80 metres (yacht or cruise ship) and should have the necessary skills to provide exceptional sanitation, cleaning and galley support. The role will be mostly in the galley, but support is to be provided in the crew mess and in the laundry due to the operations currently on the go onboard. You should be friendly, polite, and well-presented. You should have a qualification in hygiene and have a proven track record.
The start date for this role is June 13th, 2025.
Job Specification
- Valid STCW '10 Certificates
- Valid ENG1 Medical with no restrictions
- Proficiency in Designated Security Duties (PDSD)
- Minimum 2+ Years in similar role and rank experience
- Experience in a Superyacht Laundry is required
- Food Hygiene qualification required
- Good health and good sobriety
- Must speak fluent English
- Must have good written references, and contact details must be provided
- Must be vaccinated for COVID-19
- Must have a valid Schengen Visa or EU/UK Passport
