Boat spends the entire year in the Mediterranean and just does the summer season with the owners onboard.
Multi-national crew, so meals should be adaptable to this.
19 crew, but can go up to 30 when the owner is onboard
5 day working week when the owner is not onboard
Chef will be cooking lunch and dinner with the options of cooking breakfast two times a week as a treat.
Crew likes balanced, healthy meals with a focus on cuisine variety. Processed/packaged foods can be used in very limited amounts.
Occasional take outs are acceptable.
The chef should have a complete understanding of galley hygiene and maintenance, with record keeping, stock rotation, cleaning and organising. Good hygiene is essential, and the chef’s self-presentation should reflect this.
A Food Hygiene Certificate 3 or a Ships Cook Certificate is needed
