Summary
An experienced, qualified and motivated Gally Assistant is required for a 100m+ private vessel on a four-month contract which is currently cruising in the Mediterranean Sea. The ideal candidate should have experience in a similar position on a vessel over 80 metres (yacht or cruise ship) and should have the necessary skills to provide exceptional sanitation, cleaning and galley support. You should be friendly, polite, and well-presented. You should have a qualification in hygiene and have a proven track record.
The start date for this role is June 13th, 2025.
Job Specification
- Valid STCW '10 Certificates
- Valid ENG1 Medical with no restrictions
- Proficiency in Designated Security Duties (PDSD)
- Minimum 2+ Years in similar role and rank experience
- Food Hygiene qualification required
- Good health and good sobriety
- Must speak fluent English
- Must have good written references, and contact details must be provided
- Must be vaccinated for COVID-19
- Must have a valid Schengen Visa or EU/UK Passport
