Summary
A hardworking, proactive, qualified, and suitably experienced ETO is required by an superbly maintained 80-meter motor yacht that is planning an onboard refit from mid-September through the end of October 2025. The role will involve supporting the onboard ETOs in meeting any and all objectives as the existing systems are upgraded and improved. This will include working 6-day work week, running cables, installing equipment to the highest standard, supporting ETO installations, installing protective material to guard the vessel interior, recording package and component deliveries and ensuring the greater engineering team is supported in various refit objectives. You need not hold an ETO CoC but this will give you a significant advantage.
This role starts mid-September in La Ciotat, France, and will run until the end of October 2025. Candidates must be able to work the entire 6-7 week contract period. A significant advantage is given to those candidates who can commit now to the contract, which is 3 months away. Candidates that are employed and are willing to work in their off-rotation period will be considered.
Job Specification
- Valid STCW '10 Certificates
- Valid ENG1 medical with no restrictions
- Proficiency in Designated Security Duties (PDSD)
- ETO CoC or qualified electrician an advantage but not necessary
- Experience onboard motor yacht 60m+ is a clear advantage
- Hands-on electronic and electrical ability
- AVIT / Electronic and Electrical installation experience well received
- Electrical distribution, DB, and wiring system installation knowledge and experience are a requirement.
- Fit, active, and of good health and sobriety
- Must speak fluent English preferably mother tongue fluency
- Must have good written references and contact details must be provided
- Tattoos are not a problem.
