Summary
An experienced and qualified contract Motorman is required for a 100m+ vessel which is currently cruising the Mediterranean Sea. The right candidate should have experience in this role and have all necessary qualifications, travel documents and certifications up to date. Reporting to the Chief Engineer the ideal candidate must work well within a team and perform a role within the engineering department according to the highest standards and procedures. Candidates are to be able to demonstrate a good track record onboard a large yacht or cruise ship and have good references to match.
You are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19. The start date for this role is June 20th.
Job Specification
- Valid STCW '10 Certificates
- Valid ENG1 Medical with no restrictions
- Proficiency in Designated Security Duties (PDSD)
- Minimum 2+ Years in similar role and rank experience
- Required Ratings Forming Part of an Engineering Watch RIII/4 or higher
- Strong set of skills and knowledge of all engineering equipment welcomed
- Other engineering CoC's advantageous
- Good health and good sobriety
- Must speak fluent English
- Must have good written references and contact details must be provided
- Must be vaccinated for COVID-19
- No visible tattoos
- The right to work in the EU is a strict requirement due to the timing (UK/EU Passport or valid Schengen Visa)
