Summary

A professional and motivated Second Mate is required for a 77m expedition-style yacht with an exciting itinerary.

The Second Mate will be responsible for passage planning, charts and publications, and assist with bridge watches, drills, and deck operations.

Ideal candidates will have previous experience in the same role on similar-sized yachts, a strong understanding of bridge procedures, and good communication skills.

A proactive and safety-conscious mindset is essential.

Requirements: OOW 3000 GT, STCW, ENG1, Basic Polar certificate and/or polar experience will be a huge plus

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA CoC Officer of the Watch <3000gt

STCW Modules (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• Basic Training for Ships Operating in Polar Waters (A-V/4)
