Deck/Engineer

Summary

We are currently seeking a Deckhand/Engineer to join our dynamic and professional team for the Mediterranean season.

The job will be divided as Deckhand on ~90% and Engineer ~10%

Yacht Overview:

• International, experienced crew onboard
• Owners and guests who value professionalism, discretion, and high service standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 1–2 seasons of experience in a similar dual-role
• Confident with general deck duties, maintenance, and tender handling
• Hands-on in the engine room – assisting the Chief Engineer with daily checks, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Strong work ethic and ability to switch between deck and engineering tasks seamlessly
• Relevant engineering qualifications (AEC1&2 or higher preferred)

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Seasonal until mid-end/SEP

Location: Mediterranean

Package: Competitive salary DOE

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA Yacht Rating Certificate

Engineering Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA Approved Engine Course (AEC 1 & 2) Certificate
