The owner enjoys their time on board. 4-5 week trips generally with a few weeks off in between. Home base is FTL when the yacht is not cruising the Bahamas. There will be a good balance of work and time off. The captain is very fair about this.
It will suit a person that understands yachts are meant to be used. Someone that can stay busy and be happy working 4-5 weeks straight and then have down time after the owner leaves. It can be long days, however, adequate rest times will be essential. The CS can organize this with the 2nd stew so they are a well oiled team. The owner is a respectful and nice person. The captain is a professional and has great longevity. He understands the needs of both the owner and the crew. Happy, respectful and hard working crew are what makes a team work. There is a great opportunity to grow with this program.
