Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-rounded Stew/Cook to join a busy 60m dual-season charter yacht. This hybrid role is ideal for someone passionate about yachting and culinary arts, with at least one year of yachting experience, a love for organization, and a genuine interest in both interior operations and culinary support.

The successful candidate will be confident in housekeeping, maintaining clean and organized crew areas, and will work closely with the Head Chef to support in food prep, galley organization, and meal service. You’ll also be stepping in to cook for the crew (13) during the Chef’s leave periods - approximately 8 weeks per year - so independent cooking experience and someone who wants to step up to the challenge with a culinary flare is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Housekeeping: guest and crew area/cleaning and crew mess upkeep
  • Maintaining a well-organized crew space and stewardess pantry
  • Assisting the Chef with meal prep, galley hygiene, and provisioning support
  • Preparing healthy, nutritious, and balanced meals for the crew during the Chef’s time off
  • Working as a core part of a professional, active, interior team
  • Contributing to a supportive, team-oriented environment

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Minimum 1 year of yacht experience
  • A strong foundation in housekeeping and organization
  • A passionate interest in cooking and comfort in a galley environment
  • Experience preparing healthy and varied meals (vegetarian options a plus)
  • Ability to multitask and keep up with a fast-paced, charter-heavy schedule
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and a professional demeanor
  • Confidence working independently when needed
  • Previous experience in similar stew/cook roles
  • A masseuse certification with experience would be a preferred bonus!

What We Offer:

  • Strong team dynamic with guidance and space to grow
  • Supportive leadership and training opportunities alongside an amazing accomplished chef, as well as an experienced and motivating Chief Stewardess
  • Busy charter program with great itinerary - headed to Alaska for a busy summer charter season
  • The chance to be part of a dedicated team and profitable charter program
  • Strong, vibrant, welcoming crew culture (think beach days, watersports, hiking, and team bonding)
  • Social media presence – we welcome interest in photography and guest-facing content
  • Salary is above industry standard & DOE | 35 days annual leave | Standard MLC package

To Apply:

Please submit your CV and a short cover letter describing your cooking, housekeeping and other relevant experience. Sample menus or photos of past dishes are welcome and encouraged.
