Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Second Officer to join a 55m+ charter motor yacht with an exciting cruising itinerary throughout the Mediterranean. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic, guest-focused program during a busy charter season in one of the world's most popular yachting regions.
As Second Officer, you will assist with navigation, passage planning, and safety management, while playing an active role in deck operations, charter guest activities, and maintenance. You will work closely with the Chief Officer and Captain to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, while upholding the highest standards of safety, service, and professionalism on board.
Strong tender driving skills are essential, as you will be responsible for guest transfers, water sports setups, and general tender operations during charters. A hands-on, adaptable approach and a high level of organization are key in this fast-paced, guest-centric environment.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Second Officer on similar-sized charter yachts, hold the required STCW, ENG1, and OOW 3000GT (or equivalent) certifications, and possess solid knowledge of ISM/ISPS procedures, safety drills, and deck maintenance. A proactive attitude, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work well under pressure as part of a tight-knit team are essential for success.
