The Candidate Specification
We are currently seeking a Stewardess to join a 75m+ private motor yacht starting around the 1st April. The yacht is based in Monaco and cruises primarily throughout the Mediterranean. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-managed vessel with a large, supportive crew and a positive, team-focused onboard environment.
The owner mainly uses the yacht for weekend trips, creating a program that is generally well balanced and enjoyable for crew. When the owner is not onboard, the schedule can be lighter, and there are occasionally opportunities to finish earlier depending on the program.
The owner is very fitness-oriented and enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle. Crew members who share an interest in fitness are encouraged to join him in daily activities when he is onboard and in the area. These can include relaxed runs of up to 10km, but always at a comfortable and manageable pace. Any babysitting or childcare experience would also be considered a plus.
The yacht typically spends the winter season based in Palma, although there is a strong possibility the vessel will go through a shipyard period this year. This can be a valuable time for crew to gain additional experience while working closely with the team during maintenance and operational preparations.
The owner also has a number of beautiful private properties around the world, and there may occasionally be opportunities for crew to assist at these luxury villas and apartments. This adds an interesting and varied element to the role, allowing crew to experience different settings while maintaining the same high standards of service expected on board.
We are looking for someone who is motivated, eager to develop their skills, and enjoys being part of a large team environment. This role would suit a candidate who already has around a year of yachting experience and who is keen to continue learning from more experienced crew members.
The position offers 90 days of leave per year and a 13th-month bonus, along with the opportunity to gain excellent experience on a large private yacht with a professional and supportive team.
