Summary
69’ British flagged Sailing yacht is seeking an experienced Captain & Chef/Stew TEAM for a busy private/charter sailing program. Potentially cruising Sweden/Norway in late spring before returning to the Mediterranean prior to July. The program will have a mix of private use and limited charters, starting with friends and family before taking a small number of brokered charters. Candidates should have at least two years’ experience running or working on a similar-sized sailing yacht with high-end charter standards, excellent English, strong teamwork, and a professional yet personable approach suited to a family environment. The Captain must hold Yachtmaster Offshore (Sail) with commercial endorsement, ENG1, STCW (or equivalent), and VHF license, with proven command experience and solid technical skills maintaining onboard systems and preventative maintenance. The Chef/Stew should hold ENG1, STCW, and Food Hygiene Level 2, be confident producing high-quality Mediterranean cuisine, manage all interior duties and provisioning, and assist on deck as a capable watchkeeper and mate (Day Skipper or Powerboat Level 2 preferred). This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a motivated couple seeking an adventurous cruising program including Atlantic crossings and Mediterranean seasons. Salaries TBD. May 1st start.
