Summary
We are currently seeking a Seasonal Sole Chef to join a 25m+ Single Season Charter Motor Yacht.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality, tailored meals for the yacht’s guests and crew, delivering an experience for guests during Private use and Charters. The role is based in Europe and offers the opportunity to work onboard a newly built motor yacht that is based in Spain year round, cruising the Balearics during the summer season. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for finesse in culinary arts, excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining the highest standards of service and presentation. This is a seasonal role starting April and running until the end of September.
Start Date: 1st week of April
Candidate requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sole Chef
- Strong understanding of dietary restrictions and the ability to create tailored menus.
- Extensive knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage inventory.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work in a small, close-knit team and contribute to a positive onboard atmosphere.
- Willingness to travel and work in a seasonal capacity.
- Valid STCW and ENG1.
- Food Hygiene lvl 2 or Ships Cook Certificate.
