The Candidate Specification
We are looking for a Stewardess to join a 75m+ private motor yacht as soon as possible. The yacht is based in Monaco and operates mainly in the Mediterranean. This is a great opportunity to join a well-run vessel with a large, supportive crew and a positive onboard atmosphere.
The owner typically uses the yacht for weekend trips, and the program is generally relaxed and well balanced. When the owner is not onboard, the schedule is often lighter and there may occasionally be opportunities to finish earlier.
The owner is very fitness-orientated and enjoys an active lifestyle. He likes crew members who are also active and happy to join him in daily fitness activities when he is onboard and in the area. While there can be long runs upto 10K, the pace is slow and manageable. Also if you have any babysitting experience this would also be beneficial.
The yacht typically spends the winter season based in Palma, one of the Mediterranean's main yachting hubs, although there is a strong possibility the vessel will enter a shipyard period this year. This can be a great opportunity for crew to gain valuable experience during maintenance and refit periods while working closely with the wider team.
The owner also has a number of beautiful private properties around the world, and from time to time crew may have the opportunity to assist at these luxury villas and apartments. This adds a unique and varied element to the role, allowing crew to experience different environments while maintaining the same high standards of service expected on board. It's a great chance to broaden your experience and be part of the owner's wider lifestyle program.
We are looking for someone who is keen to learn, positive, and happy to be part of a large team. Candidates should have at least one season of yachting experience and be willing to learn from more experienced crew members.
The position offers a 13th-month bonus, along with the chance to gain great experience on a large private yacht with a professional and supportive team.
