The Candidate Specification
We are currently seeking a Temporary Chief Stewardess to join a 78m+ private yacht for approximately 10 weeks, with an ASAP start date. The yacht has been in the shipyard and is now coming out of the yard, preparing for upcoming operations. This role will involve assisting with interior administration, organisation, and ensuring the yacht is fully prepared for a potential upcoming guest trip, with the possibility of supporting the team before the crossing.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for overseeing the interior department, ensuring the yacht maintains the highest standards of service, presentation, and organisation. Strong administrative skills will be essential, as the role includes supporting with interior paperwork, inventory management, and operational preparation following the yard period. The Chief Stewardess will also guide and support the interior team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across service, housekeeping, and laundry where required.
We are looking for a professional, experienced, and highly organised candidate who can step into the role confidently and integrate quickly with the existing crew. A proactive, hands-on attitude and strong leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to maintain exceptional standards under pressure.
