Summary
We are seeking an experienced Bosun to join a 46m motor yacht, which will be based in La Spezia. We will be preparing for a Mediterranean season following a brief shipyard period. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in maintaining high standards on deck, possess a Yacht Master certification, and be comfortable taking navigational watch. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and teamwork, with a no-ego approach to their work. The role involves overseeing the deck team, which includes a First Officer, Bosun, Deckhand, and Deck/Stew, while collaborating effectively within a crew of nine. The position offers a salary of 4000 Euro, potentially negotiable, along with 38 days of leave per year. The successful candidate will embark around April 7th in La Spezia, with plans to cruise various Mediterranean destinations including the south of France, Italy, Sardinia, Greece, and Croatia following the shipyard period. The owner is also currently building a new 50m, due for delivery in 2027. Please note that due to cabin arrangements, only male candidates will be considered. Candidates must have Schengen visa or ability to travel to Europe.
