We are seeking a charismatic, energetic Butler to join a high-profile private household for the summer season in NYC (Hamptons).
This is a high-energy hospitality-driven role within a beautifully run private residence where entertaining, family dinners, and summer events are part of daily life.
This is not a rigid, old-school silver-service position. The family is looking for someone modern, warm, proactive, and naturally hospitality-minded who enjoys creating a relaxed but polished environment.

The Role
Working closely with the Estate Manager, you will help ensure the household runs seamlessly while delivering exceptional hospitality during family dinners and summer entertaining.
Responsibilities include:
• Providing anticipatory service for principals and guests
• Leading service for family dinners and social gatherings
• Cocktail preparation and elevated bar service
• Wine presentation and pairing recommendations
• Beautiful table settings and event presentation
• Supporting themed evenings and summer entertaining
• Collaborating closely with chefs and housekeepers
• Driving principals or children when required
• Helping create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for family and guests
• Supporting smooth daily operations alongside the household team
The successful candidate will bring positive energy, strong presence, and the ability to read the room instinctively.
This is a lively and social summer household with regular entertaining and family gatherings.
Requirements
• 5+ years experience in private service or luxury hospitality
• Strong cocktail and wine knowledge
• Experience supporting entertaining and events
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Comfortable living on-site
• Strong communication and leadership presence
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
