Land Based Opportunity - NYC - UHNW Family
A UHNW family based in NYC is seeking a full-time Hybrid Housekeeper / Laundry Specialist to join their household team.
This role is primarily focused on high-level laundry and couture garment care, with the flexibility to assist the housekeeping team during lighter laundry periods. The ideal candidate will have strong experience caring for luxury fabrics, designer wardrobes, and fine linens, and be comfortable working in a private household environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full management of household laundry, linens, and daily wardrobe care
- Expert care of couture, designer garments, and delicate fabrics
- Ironing, steaming, folding, and wardrobe organization
- Stain treatment, hand-washing, and light mending
- Seasonal wardrobe rotation and linen management
- Support housekeeping team with cleaning and organization as needed
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the home
Housekeeping Support (Secondary / As Needed)
- Assist housekeeping team during lighter laundry periods
- Clean and maintain bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas
- Make beds and change linens
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize living spaces
- Organize closets, storage areas, and household spaces
- Replenish household supplies and toiletries
- Support overall smooth day-to-day running of the home
Requirements:
- Prior private household experience as a Housekeeper, Laundress, or hybrid role
- Strong knowledge of luxury fabric care and garment preservation
- Detail-oriented with high standards and discretion
- Team player with a flexible, proactive attitude
- Professional, organized, and trustworthy
