Itinerary: New England Summers, Caribbean Winters. Yard periods spring and fall before each season in Fort Lauderdale
License Required: 200GT license
Requirements:
B1/B2 visa or US passport
STCW + refresher, ENG1 or current fit for duty marine medical (valid for 6 months)
Other Requirements:
Seeking a hardworking-can-do person with a positive attitude.
- Sharp navigational skills
- Ability to run the deck with 1 deckhand and captain, when called upon
- Maintenance planning and carry through
- Responsibility for Safety and Security
- Wash-down, polishing and general maintenance and upkeep
- Anchoring and Dockage planning
- Ability to work under pressure
- Enjoy working closely within a team
Experience and ability to assist in engine room with oil changes, sea chest cleaning and general maintenance of engine room equipment.
Responsibilities: Full exterior
You will be in charge of the full exterior.
OTHER:
The program runs with a 43 foot Sea Vee and a 64 foot Viking for fishing.
Fishing experience beneficial
Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines, DOE.
