Summary
Reiya Group is seeking a Chief Mate to join a 40m Private/Charter Yacht operating a dual season itinerary. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated deck professional looking to step up, gain valuable drive time and join a dynamic cruising program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily deck operations and exterior maintenance
• Lead and manage the deck team
• Support navigation, passage planning and bridge operations
• Manage docking, anchoring and mooring procedures
• Assist with tender operations and guest activities
• Maintain safety standards, drills and regulatory compliance
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation on deck
• Support the Captain with operational planning and vessel management
Requirements:
• Yachtmaster in hand
• Minimum of 2 years’ yachting experience
• Experience in rank on a 30-40m yacht, or a Bosun/Lead Deckhand on 50-60m yachts looking to step up
• Must hold a valid B1/B2 visa
• DJ skills are a huge advantage
• Available to join within 1 week
