Burgess Recruitment is looking for a Captain for a 70m Charter Yacht
Start Date: 27 April 2026
Salary: €16,000 per month
Leave: 10:10 rotation
Qualifications:
- Master 3000GT (minimum)
- All valid STCW certification
- Valid ENG1
- Minimum 3+ years’ proven command experience as Captain on 60m+ yachts
Requirements:
- Experienced Senior Captain with a strong charter background
- Proven track record managing a busy dual-season programme
- Confident and decisive leader with strong command presence
- Ability to manage high guest expectations in a premium charter environment
- Demonstrated success leading, motivating, and retaining high-performing crew
- Strong organisational, operational, and commercial awareness
- Italian yard build or refit experience considered an advantage
- Professional communicator with owners, charter brokers, and management
Other:
- Dual season (Mediterranean / Caribbean)
- Busy and commercially successful charter programme
- Economy flights provided
