Summary
Chief Stewardess (time for time rotation) required for a beautiful New Build 58m Motor Yacht. Female candidates only due to cabin share arrangement. The build is in it's late stages before launch. There may have to be some flexibility with the first rotation, until the yacht leaves the shipyard.
Successful applicant will be a fantastic communicator with a professional and positive outlook, who leads her team with kindness, and by example. Someone who is meticulous with organisation and will mentor and train a new team whilst motivating them from the outset. This is not a 'behind the desk' position. It is an active role so needs someone who can work with a good pace and energy level. Handover will be completed with the very experienced build chief stewardess who has started off this process with total professionalism. Great systems have started to be put into place, and the yacht has been exceptionally well outfitted. A Second stewardess will be in onboard imminently and the rest of the team will follow shortly afterwards.
MUST have charter experience as a Chief Stewardess onboard a 50m+ and ideally New Build experience also. Someone who has served with longevity, and has earned knowledge and respect for various roles, by working her way through the ranks. At least 5 years of experience onboard yachts is a requirement. Only those who boast exceptional references need apply - and yes, we check them THOROUGHLY!
Those who have MANY yachts on their CV, with consistently short stints served, will NOT be considered. No yacht hoppers please.....no exceptions!
This yacht will be used in a private and charter capacity and will eventually operate as a dual season programme. The first year will be Med cruising and then some warranty works within Europe.
Must be totally at home in a guest facing role. Someone with a genuine warmth who makes people instantly at ease. Chosen applicant will have excellent knowledge in all areas of service, and be able to guide the team with confidence. These areas of expertise should of course stretch beyond food, and into Mixology, wine, coffee service, cigar service, etc. The candidate should have an interest and good understanding of various cuisine types and how to serve accordingly. Must be knowledgeable on how to run a meticulous superyacht interior, including having an in depth understanding on how to care for and maintain all surfaces & fabrics. Candidates must be very strong in administrative skills and be well able to keep organised accounts and budgets in place.
Shore based hospitality and relevant courses / certifications, would be a huge plus on your CV. Competitive training budget allocated per crew member. Salary to be discussed at interview stages.
Valid and clean driver's license is a must.
English mother tongue or equivalent level of fluency.
Non-smokers only. No visible tattoos.
