Chief Stewardess (time for time rotation) required for a beautiful 80m+. Female candidates only due to cabin share arrangement.
Successful applicant will be a fantastic communicator, who is at ease interacting with guests in a warm and sincere way. Someone with a professional and positive outlook, who leads her team with kindness, and by example. This is not a 'behind the desk' position. It is an active role so needs someone who can work with a good pace and energy level. Outgoing Chief Stewardess onboard has history, longevity and great systems in place, so it would be a case of stepping into a well-oiled machine. A good handover will take place with her before she heads off on a new adventure (no easy decision to leave such lovely owners and crew).
Chosen candidate will have Chief Stewardess experience on a 70m+ yacht (ideally charter).
This yacht is used by the boss, and select members of his family, and charters a few weeks per year (in the Mediterranean). It is a dual season programme. Winters are spent between the USA and The Bahamas.
Must have excellent knowledge in all areas of service, and be able to train the team with confidence. These areas of expertise should of course stretch beyond food, and into Mixology, wine, coffee service, cigar service, etc. The candidate should have an interest and good understanding of various cuisine types and how to serve accordingly. Must be knowledgeable on how to run a meticulous superyacht interior, including having an in depth understanding on how to care for and maintain all surfaces & fabrics. Should be strong exceptionally organised, with good time management, strong administration in administration and efficient in accountancy, budgeting, sourcing and provisioning.
This is a position on an incredible yacht, for someone who has gained on the job knowledge and experience through courses, proven longevity, and promotions through the ranks. At least 5 years of experience onboard yachts is a requirement (at least 2 as a Chief Stewardess on a +70m yacht), and shore based hospitality would be a huge plus on your CV. Only those with outstanding references need apply. Excellent training budget allocated for crew. Discretionary 13th month bonus awarded for hard work. Salary to be discussed at interview stages. Business class flights awarded after one year served, when flying +6 hours.
This is a yacht with a good work / life balance for crew.
Driver's licence required. B1/B2 required.
