A highly regarded 95m+ private MY is looking for a experienced and confident 2nd Officer to join them this April
The vessel runs with 34 diverse crew and boasts excellent longevity onboard across all departments -creating a strong and experienced team culture.
The bridge structure consists of: Chief Officers,1st Officer, 2nd Officer. 3rd Officer
The yacht runs a dual-season itinerary with moderate usage throughout the year with both family cruising and occasional business engagements.
This position will serve as Navigation Officer, with primary responsibility for:
- Passage planning and execution
- Bridge equipment maintenance and upkeep
- Watchkeeping duties
- Supporting senior bridge officers
- Ensuring compliance with ISM, ISPS and vessel safety procedures
- Assisting with helicopter operations (HLO preferred)
REQUIREMENTS
- OOW Unlimited in hand
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as OOW on yachts 70m+
- Strong knowledge of bridge systems and navigation procedures
- Solid understanding of ISM, ISPS and safety operations
- Practical, reliable and motivated attitude
- B1B2 in hand preferred
- Helicopter Landing Officer (HLO) certification
Start Date: 12th/13th April

Salary: USD 6,000 DOE
