Summary
A stunning Swan 100 sailing yacht, fresh from a comprehensive 12-month refit and gearing up for a serious racing campaign is looking for a Sole engineer to join the current crew
The vessel is entering commissioning and sea trials before an exciting Mediterranean regatta season, followed by a transatlantic crossing to the Caribbean and the USA.
The programme is 90% racing, supported by a full professional race crew during regattas.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee commissioning and April sea trials
- Manage and maintain all newly installed systems
- Ensure reliability and peak performance for racing
- Liaise with contractors and specialists as required
- Support deck operations when needed
This is a high-spec performance yacht requiring a confident, hands-on engineer comfortable with advanced systems.
The Ideal Candidate
- YMO Offshore (in hand) preferred
- AEC 1 & 2 minimum but Y4 advantageous
- Minimum 1 year on a similar-sized sailing yacht
- Racing experience highly desirable
- Experience with hydraulic and PLC systems
- Some deck experience beneficial
