DEPUTY HOUSEHOLD MANAGER/HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD (RESIDENTIAL)
CENTRAL LONDON
Essential Requirements: Previous House Manager experience, formal service experience, good communication skills. Candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK.
For an Ambassadorial position, based in a residence very well known to Hutchinsons. This role requires a special candidate who will love and respect the client and care for the property as if it were his or her own.
The property is the official residence of a VVIP Ambassador to the United Kingdom, located on its own beautiful grounds and is a Grade II listed building, and has served as the location for diplomatic hospitality and the residence of ambassadors. The grounds include large and beautiful gardens and the property and contents of rare beauty.
Essential requirements:
· Share with another the total running of an important residence
· Arrange functions and events.
· Recruit, Train and work alongside housekeeping staff.
· Experience in overseeing major refurbishments, dealing with contractors, security, Governmental offices and officials,
· Have strong administration skills, able to run a budget, keep spreadsheets, upkeep of staff and household manuals, rotas.
· Experience in care of crystal, crockery, fine fabrics (both furnishing and couture clothing) and objects d’art of priceless value.
· Knowledge of formal service, acting in front of house role.
· Working with Head Chef and the lady of the house in regards menu planning.
· Wear many hats at the same time.
· Focus on residence, oversight, daily maintenance walk around inside and out, noting faults which need repair and discussing with the Ambassadors’ wife.
· Working to schedules in particular when overseas Diplomats and VIP’s visit.

Salary circa £75-80,000 + depending on experience. Ultimately a cottage which will be totally refurbished prior to occupation. Initially own suite if required. This is a residential role only. Candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK. (HU4354)
