Requirements:

Advanced Fire fighting, medical or Medical Care certificate

STCW + Refresher

GMDSS

ENG1 or current fit for duty marine medical (valid for min. 6 months) - physically fit

Passport (valid min. 1 year)

Very pro-active

Strong Safety and Leadership skills

Leads by example

Extremely organized

Solid history of crew management

Excellent communications skills

Solid References from past captains and crew

Hard worker, takes responsibilities serious and takes pride in their work.

Easy going personality. Fun to be around. 

VISA: B1/B2 visa

Background check and drug testing may apply.

Responsibilities: Chief Officer duties. 

Bridge/accounts

Strong leadership skills - mentor to the deck crew. Manages with respect

Run the Bridge and Deck department 

When Captain goes on leave - run the program - Co-Captain  

Salary range: Within yachting salary guidelines depending on experience. Please let us know your salary range. This can be discussed with Captain to negotiate.  

Package: Medical coverage, flights to and from the vessel, etc. to be finalized during interview process.

Essential Qualifications

Entry Level Qualifications (or equivalent)

• STCW 95 (STCW 2010)
• ENG 1 (Medical Certificate)
• Drivers License

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)

• MCA CoC Chief Mate <3000gt
• MCA CoC Chief Mate <3000gt
