Summary

55m Motor Yacht – Rotational Chief Engineer (Private, World Touring Program)

A 55m motor yacht is seeking an experienced Rotational Chief Engineer to join a strictly private, world-touring program. We are hiring for both rotations.

This yacht operates to 70–80m systems and standards and runs a global itinerary including Florida, the Mediterranean, and the Pacific. The vessel is professionally crewed, well funded, and maintained to exceptionally high standards.

The Role:

This is a hands-on engineering position. The yacht carries a full-time Second Engineer who is very capable and involved. The Chief Engineer must be mechanically strong, confident turning wrenches, and able to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently. This is not a “call the vendor” program. When crossing remote regions, self-sufficiency is essential.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as Chief Engineer on similar size or larger vessels Y1

• Strong technical and mechanical ability

• Experience running high-standard private programs

• Professional, team-oriented attitude

• Rotation experience preferred
