Position Overview

We are seeking a professional and experienced Female Deckhand to join a 25-meter private motor yacht based permanently in Dubai.

The vessel is operated exclusively for the Owner and guests. This is not a seasonal or rotational role. The selected candidate must be willing to relocate to Dubai and be permanently based in the UAE.

The role requires strong seamanship, high attention to detail, and a discreet, service-oriented attitude suitable for a private yacht environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deck Operations

• Assist the Captain with safe navigation and maneuvering
• Line handling, mooring, anchoring operations
• Tender driving and watersports support (if applicable)
• Maintain decks to high standards (washdowns, polishing, detailing)
• Fenders, ropes, and docking preparation

Maintenance & Upkeep

• Routine exterior maintenance (cleaning, polishing stainless, teak care)
• Assist with minor repairs and basic technical tasks
• Maintain deck equipment and safety gear
• Inventory control of deck supplies

Guest Support

• Assist with guest embarkation and disembarkation
• Provide support during cruising and at anchor
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times
• Ensure guest areas are immaculate before and after use

Safety & Compliance

• Participate in safety drills and emergency procedures
• Assist in maintaining safety equipment
• Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and onboard protocols

Required Qualifications

• Valid STCW certification
• Valid Seafarer Medical Certificate
• RYA Powerboat Level 2 (or equivalent) preferred
• Minimum 1–2 years experience on yachts (20–30m preferred)
• Good English communication skills
• Strong swimming ability

Preferred Experience

• UAE / GCC waters experience
• Mediterranean cruising exposure
• Tender driving experience
• Basic mechanical or technical knowledge
• Experience in private (non-charter) yacht operations
