We are seeking a professional and experienced Captain for a 72ft Della Pietra motor yacht, Maltese flagged, operating privately with seasonal use. The yacht is based year-round in the South of France, with Mediterranean cruising during the season.
The owner is experienced in yachting and values clear communication, professionalism, and a well-run vessel.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe navigation and overall command of the vessel
- Compliance with flag-state and maritime regulations
- Maintenance planning, yard periods, and contractor management
- Budget oversight and operational cost control
- Owner liaison and itinerary planning
- Ensuring high standards of safety, presentation, and readiness
Requirements
- Minimum certification: Yachtmaster (Commercial Endorsed)
- Proven experience as Captain on similar-sized yachts
- Valid STCW, ENG1
- Strong Mediterranean experience, particularly South of France
- Professional, reliable, and well-organized
