2nd Officer

Summary

• 90m Modern/Classic motor yacht are looking for a 2^nd officer to join them ASAP!

• Fantastic program which runs in part of a fleet, great longstanding team, excellent HODS, owner and Captains – this is a really nice program with lots of room for progression

• They are looking for a relatively newly qualified OOW with solid deck experience and will need to have come through the ranks on deck – good tender skills and maintenance experience is a must

• They are gearing up for a Busy Med season with owner usage this summer. Winter plans will include an extended refit period likely in Spain. Future plans TBC

• They need someone who is willing to learn, keen to hit the ground running and happy to split their time between bridge and deck operations. Super supportive senior team who will teach and guide you.

• You will be responsible for the ISM, safety and passage planning onboard. They run with paper charts so need someone who can confidently plan with the support of the chief officer

• Great crew, strong deck team and a nice working environment. Everyone likes to spend time outside of work playing Padel, running and nice crew dinners out

• Experience with painting and varnishing would be advantageous but not essential

• Good package on offer including a salary of 5000+ Euros, 3:1 rotation (some flexibility required in the first few months), 13^th month discretionary bonus and a training allowance – full package TBD during initial calls

Essential Qualifications

Master/Skipper Qualifications (or Merchant, USCG & AMSA equivalent)
