Summary
We are seeking a Sole Chef to join a private 40m+ S/Y in May. The vessel is currently in the Caribbean.
This a great program that runs with a crew of 6 who are active and sociable. They enjoy doing activities together such as diving, surfing and hiking.
The role and Itinerary:
- Start date: Mid to late May and likely in the US.
- Leave: 30 days
- Itinerary: Summers in Maine area and winters in the Caribbean including a regatta.
- Usage: Strictly private
Candidate Requirements:
- Sailing background: Ideal but not essential. An interest is minimal as the candidate will be involved in sail operations.
- Visas: B1B2 essential or must be in a position to obtain it prior to start date.
- Experience: Ideally would have held Sole Chef position on similar size vessels with proven longevity. Restaurant background essential.
- Lifestyle: Ideally would lead an active lifestyle to match the current crew culture.
Package:
- Salary: US$6,000 - $6,500 DOE
