Head Chef – Private 50m M/Y
We are seeking an experienced and confident Head Chef to join a well-run private motor yacht based in Italy. The ideal candidate will be culinary trained, organised, and capable of running the galley to a high standard while leading and mentoring a small galley team.
Start date: End of February
Itinerary: Italy
Package: Salary paid in Euros, within industry standards, 10 weeks on / 10 weeks off rotation
Experience / Skills required:
• Previous experience as Head Chef on yachts of similar size
• Culinary trained, with strong fundamentals and high presentation standards
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality cuisine for a private program
• Experience managing menus, provisioning, budgets, and galley operations
• Leadership skills to manage and guide a 2nd Chef
• Calm, professional, and organised approach under pressure
Qualifications required:
• STCW (fully updated)
• Seafarer’s Medical Certificate
• Seaman’s Discharge Book (preferred)
