- Excellent barista skills and cocktail knowledge (classics + yacht-style flair)
- Proper table setting, napkin folds, wine service, and guest etiquette
- Anticipates guest needs without hovering
Impeccable housekeeping standards
- Meticulous cabin turn-downs, detailing, and laundry care
- Knows how to handle luxury fabrics, garments, and finishes
- High attention to detail—no streaks, hairs, or missed corners
- Efficient but never rushed
Organisation & multitasking
- Can juggle service, housekeeping, and admin without dropping the ball
- Keeps pantries, lockers, and inventories neat and stocked
- Follows systems and checklists religiously (yachts love systems)
Team player energy
- Takes direction well from the Chief Stew
- Steps up to lead juniors when needed
- Positive attitude during long hours and charter pressure
- No ego—just gets on with it
Guest-focused mindset
- Discreet, professional, and emotionally intelligent
- Reads the room: knows when to chat and when to disappear
- Maintains confidentiality at all times

Yacht experience & certifications
- Previous yacht or high-end hospitality experience
- STCW, ENG1 (mandatory)
- WSET Level 1–2 or barista training is a big plus
- Familiar with yacht hierarchy and standards
