Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and food loving Cook/Crew Chef to join the team on a 37m motor yacht based in Mexico. This position involves preparing nutritious and appealing meals for the crew while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in the galley. The ideal candidate will have experience in a maritime environment, demonstrating proficiency in menu planning, food safety, and inventory management. You will be responsible for catering to healthy and diverse dietary needs, ensuring all meals are prepared in a timely manner. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.
When owner trips happen you will be required to help out on deck as well as occasionally support head chef who only will be onboard for the owners trips. The program is heavy into diving and marine research missions so a cook with diving interests would be a great match.
Candidates should possess a valid STCW certification and relevant culinary qualifications, along with a passion for cooking in a dynamic setting.
