Crew Chef position aboard Private 90 M/Y
Great opportunity for a qualified Chef to be working within a great galley environment, cooking for crew and assisting the Head Chef with Guest food !
Start Date: Mid- February
Itinerary: Caribbean & Mediterranean
Package: Competitive Salary paid in Euros – 60 days leave
Experience and Attributes Required:
- Minimum of 1 season on board 80m+ Yachts, Cruise or River Ships in similar role Cruise experience would be a plus
- Assisting with food preparation, maintenance of cleanliness and high standards of hygiene in the galley, mess rooms, pantries and storerooms
- Enthusiasm, willingness to learn and a positive attitude
- Team player and being able to provide the crew with tasty and nutritious varied meals
- Attention to detail
- Ability work under pressure and remain calm and courteous at all times
- Fluent English both written and verbal
Qualifications Required:
- STCW (all up-dated)
- Proficiency in Designated Security Duties Certificate
- Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (Minimum 6 months' validity)
- Seaman’s Discharge Book
- Food Safety & Hygiene Level 2
- Ship’s Cook Certificate (preferred)
