Engineer/Deck – 35m New Build M/Y
We are seeking a mechanically minded and hands‑on Engineer/Deck to join a 35m private motor yacht in the final stages of construction. This is a dual‑role position suited to a versatile candidate who is comfortable working across both engineering and deck operations within a small crew.
The successful candidate will play an active part in the commissioning process, assisting with system setup, sea trials, defect management, and the final handover from the shipyard. Strong technical skills, problem‑solving abilities, and a proactive approach to preventative maintenance are essential. The engineer will also assist in establishing structured procedures and maintenance schedules ahead of the yacht’s first operational season.
As this is a dual role, the Engineer/Deck will also be required to support the deck team with day‑to‑day operations, including line handling, anchoring, washdowns, and general deck duties as needed. A flexible, can‑do attitude and the ability to collaborate well within a small, close‑knit crew are key.
This is a permanent position and candidates must hold a valid B1/B2 visa.

Leave: 38 days per year
